Builder Gel in a Bottle

Builder Gel in a Bottle

This course is taught using short tips to give the illusion of length and also durability with the builder gel application.  Entry requirements to this is a manicure qualification/gel polish manicure.

Whether you are already an experienced practitioner in other beauty therapies or this is your first course in nails after manicure, I am sure that you will embrace what you learn from this course and finish it feeling motivated and humble that you can provide this wonderful treatment to your clients, family and friends.

The purpose of a using a brush on builder gel in a bottle  is that it can be used instead of a regular varnish, or you can buy a clear builder gel and put a gel polish colour over the top of it.  It is that it is recommended to last up to two weeks without chipping.  Brush on Builder Gels in a Bottle aren’t like a traditional extensions, it is a specially formulated nail varnish that is applied to the natural nail and cured under ultraviolet or LED light.

Curing means that a chemical process takes place which occurs when the photo-initiators within the gel varnish itself are exposed to the UV or LED light.  It creates heat while the oligomers combine to form long chains during the polymerization process.  These bonds of chains make the gel varnish become hard.  Any stickly layer residue can be removed by a specially formulated product available from most gel polish suppliers.

Builder Gel in a Bottle
On the training day you will use your tutors own system of builder.

Advantages to using Builder Gel in your Business

If a client has a reaction to acrylic then this is an ideal option.

The application of the gel polish is quick and often gives the client a less thick, and less rigid texture on their nail.

The builder gel polish is easily removed some by using acetone and will soak off  in a short space of time.  Others may need filing off.

Each supplier will stipulate the length of soaking off time needed.

Soaking off using acetone does little or no damage to the natural nail.

Each product has very different specifications, however they are advertised to give between 2 to 3 week of chip resistance.

Gel polishes often give a glossier finish.

Gel polishes dry instantly after curing, so no risk to ruining a perfect manicure.
