Each tutor offering this will use a different machine for their Deep Tissue & Pneumatic Massage , that is their choice. But you will cover the use of all attachments so you are then able to pick the machine for you. Prices for machines do vary. You will use your tutors on the day.
Massage is the art of healing through touch and pressure. It restores balance to the mind, body and spirit.
Body Massage also known as Holistic Massage, dates back from the early 19th century. It is the original massage technique that uses oils, involving a sequence of movements working superficially and deeper into the tissue layers. It is one of the easiest ways of attaining and maintaining good health and something we do naturally. It is a healing instinct, innate in us all, to rub an aching shoulder or stubbed toe. By using oils and gentle manipulation, the power of touch eases our troubled minds, relieves aches and pains and provides a feeling of true relaxation.
Advanced Body Massage or Deep Tissue & Pneumatic Massage (some may call it sports massage as it is used in a similar fashion) is an uplifting and energizing massage that stimulates circulation and generates an immediate sense of well-being. This massage concentrates on trigger points and deep tissue work . These techniques are designed to help the functioning of the muscles more effectively, aid lymphatic drainage and to offer a much deeper tissue massage thoroughly and safely with control. You will also cover the use of a massage machine to help i n your treatment.

Full practical demonstration and guidance throughout the days.

Sterilisation and Hygiene in the salon,

Anatomy and Physiology relating to the course you are studying.
Consultation process and an example of the consultation card.
Contra-indications and how to recognise them,

Local Bylaws that may affect your business e.g. treating minors.
Where to obtain insurance and details of professional associations.
Full demonstration of deep tissue massage and pneumatic
Techniques on stretching and working out muscle knots,
Trigger point work,
Using a G5 or similar massage machine to aid tension reduction with Deep Tissue & Pneumatic Massage,
Entry Requirement & Prerequisites:
Body Massage diploma is essential as this is an advanced massage course.

Assessment and Examination Method:
There will be continuous formative assessments takes place during the day while you practise and take information from your tutor.
