Gel nails are very popular. They are a quick fix for those who can’t or won’t grow their nails. They are long lasting, strong and durable if applied correctly. Nail technicians all over the world have applied millions of hands with Gel nails and find that those who do a good job can make a successful living out of being an Gel nail technician. It is a skill. It is a fine art form. It takes patience to perfect the application of Gel Nails and whilst you have opted to attend an intensive fast track course we do expect that you continually practise your skills learned today and update your cpd regularly.

Why are Gel nails so popular? Well Gels nails generally have a more natural look. Some argue they cause less damage to the natural nail plate, however acrylic customers would say that the chemical blends used in acrylic tips also cause no damage to the nail. Quite often it is the nail technician themselves and their technique that cause the damage, and not the type of nail itself.

Full demonstration of UV GEl application, UV GEl removal techniques, Gel Maintenance, sculpturing, polshing, curing and troubleshooting

Students must have a manicure diploma AND a diploma in acrylic nail extensions
