Why are Gel nails so popular? Well Gels nails generally have a more natural look. Some argue they cause less damage to the natural nail plate, however acrylic customers would say that the chemical blends used in acrylic tips also cause no damage to the nail. Quite often it is the nail technician themselves and their technique that cause the damage, and not the type of nail itself.

Assessment and Examination Method
There will be continuous formative assessments takes place during the day while you practise and take information from your tutor. On completion of the final day you will be expected to answer verbal questions and perform the Gel nails procedure and removal, and show what you have learned via hypothetical scenarios proposed by your tutor.
