High Frequency Facial

High Frequency facial can be used on deeply congested acne prone skin. The high frequency element of this course can be applied in two ways. Directly or Indirectly.
During a direct High Frequency Facial treatment a glass electrode is placed directly onto the skin or over a gauze and is applied using slow circular motions. The current travels through the electrode and into the skin. During an indirect treatment the client holds the electrode in their hands. The therapist massages the clients skin which causes the current to transfer from the clients skin to the therapists hands.
The function of a high frequency facial is that it accelerates blood circulation, helps promote metabolism, kills bacteria, anti congestive, relaxing, aids creams and lotions enter the skin better.

Health and Safety at Work Law,Sterilisation and Hygiene in the salon
Data Protection, Where to buy products and the different skin types
Anatomy and Physiology relating to the course you are studying
Consultation process and an example of the consultation card.
Contra-indications and how to recognise them, Contra-actions
Licensing requirements if required. Professionalism/ Code of Ethics
Local Bylaws that may affect your business e.g. treating minors.
Where to obtain insurance and details of professional associations.

BEAUTYGUILD require you to have only a beauty facial diploma.

There will be continuous formative assessments takes place during the day while you practise and take information from your tutor.
