Manual Tanning
Manual tanning is the popular safe alternative to the harmful UV rays in gaining an all over flawless tan all year round. Since we are not affiliated to any particular brand you tutor will use the manual tanning product of their choice on the day. You will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different systems. On your course you will use the preferred choice of products supplied by your tutor. Like all Inspire courses, we are not linked to any particular manual tanning brand. So once qualified you can use whichever brand of tan you prefer as long as it is intended for professional use.
Course content
Full practical demonstration of a body exfoliation and manual tan application and guidance throughout the day
Health and Safety at Work Law
Sterilisation and Hygiene in the salon
Data Protection
Anatomy and Physiology relating to the course you are studying
Consultation process and an example of the consultation card.
Contra-indications and how to recognise them
Contra-actions, and possible side effects of the spray tanning
Licensing requirements if required. Professionalism/ Code of Ethics
Local Bylaws that may affect your business e.g. treating minors.
Where to obtain insurance and details of professional associations.

There will be continuous formative assessments takes place during the day while you practise and take information from your tutor.
